I am Dave Johnson and I have been supporting NIWC (thru various name changes) since 1998. I started as project engineer supporting PMW-160 on the afloat network program. As my career progressed from hands on engineering to more program management and business development I learned by trail and error the right way and the wrong way to earn business at NIWC. In my roles as a Senior VP, Chief Technologist, and Strategist for all size companies from startup to well established large corporations, I learned, taught, and executed the winning business development and proposal actions that resulted in over $1B in contract ceiling.
I started KandE (named after the first letter of both my children names) to help other companies achieve the same success at NIWC. I proudly support the mission at NIWC where you can easily see how your actions have direct impact to service men and women around the world.
